The origin of Ancient Egypt is full of historical theories and assumptions on the killing of monarchs and the daily life of ancient Egyptians. Although most of us still consider Egypt as a mystery, several doubts have been addressed as many tombs have been discovered. All these images of mummies scurrying through darkly lit pyramids are brought to mind owing to Hollywood when thinking about Egypt. Yet, under his mystical shell, Egypt has many interesting tales. 1. A Hippopotamus Killed King Tut?

Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh known as the King Tut or the Golden King. His death has been the focus of much controversy, as no details can be identified. Although he was probably murdered, a 2005 CT scan still revealed he had a broken leg that became infected. Another hypothesis was, he died of sickle cell disease in addition to malaria and Kohler disease II. King Tut’s body scans show he was buried without his heart or chest wall, which is strange because it’s opposed to Egypt’s conventional burial practice.

Several other Egyptologists believe a hippopotamus attacked King Tut to death. These animals were hunted for fun by ancient Egyptians, and sculptures in King Tut’s grave also portray him throwing a harpoon known for attacking and killing Hippos. Egyptologists presume his death may have resulted from an ill-fated hunt.

The male and female Egyptians wore make-up. The color of the eye make-up was generally green or black and served both practical and ceremonial purposes. It was aimed at protecting their eyes against sunlight, repelling insects, and preventing infection. This intense layout even emulated the sun god Horus’ facial marks. Makeup often represented the status of a rich woman in Ancient Egypt, especially a mobile cosmetic cabinet that was more symbolic. During Ramses III, employees stopped working because facial balms and massage oils were not given to them, which they felt were necessary for their quality of life.

Ox hooves, ashes, burnt eggshells, and pumice were included in the ingredients. The ancient Egyptians buried toothpicks with the mummies because they believed in the afterlife. They assumed the dead would clean food waste between their tooth surfaces in the life hereafter.

7. Ancient Egyptians Worshipped More Than 2,000 Deities

Egyptians worshiped various gods to keep life balanced. The “responsibilities” of each deity were distinct. The collection of gods including the Sun god, Ra; goddess of moisture, Tefnut; Anubis – the goddess of the embalming and the deceased, and so on.
