A hacker group known as Anonymous has released a video repeating the claims that NASA could potentially announce contact with alien life.
The video was released Tuesday by a YouTube channel supposedly affiliated with Anonymous. With over half a million views, the video reveals the text of three articles from the conspiracy website Ancient-Code.com
In recent months, new discoveries in the solar system have insinuated hope in those who believe that aliens, in fact, do exist beyond our imaginations.
In April, scientists disclosed that hydrogen had been found on the Saturn moon of Enceladus. This is big news, as hydrogen has been this missing factor that could potentially support microbial life on the seafloor of the icebound moon.
This month, scientists at NASA’s Ames Research Center have indicated the ‘most reliable’ list of planets in our galaxy with 4,034 in total.
During the Kepler missions, over 2,300 planets were confirmed, according to scientists. This includes over 30 terrestrial-sized planets deemed capable of bearing life.
The possibilities of alien life have lingered for decades. This is the closest researchers have come to potentially discover that extraterrestrial beings exist on the havens they are capable of living on.

“Only in the last few decades have we been able to detect the existence of other worlds,” House Committee on Science Space and Technology Chairman Lamar Smithin said at an April 26 hearing. “The pursuit of evidence of life beyond our planet fascinates the American people.”
The Anonymous video opens with an article’s response to the dialogue from that hearing, which predicts a possible announcement of the discovery of alien life.
The articles cited in the video quote NASA associate administrator Dr Thomas Zurbuchen’s speech during the “Advances in the Search for Life” congressional hearing in April.
“Our civilization is on the verge of discovering evidence of alien life in the cosmos,” Zurbuchen said. “Taking into account all of the different activities and missions that are specifically searching for evidence of alien life we are on the verge of making one of the most profound and unprecedented discoveries in history.”
In the video, Anonymous uses this statement along with NASA’s most recent findings as indicators that extraterrestrial life is possibly among us.
However, the associate administrator stated in his speech that NASA is still on the search for finding “definitive” signs of life beyond Earth.
“While we haven’t found definitive signs of life elsewhere just yet, our search is making remarkable progress and astrobiology is a focus of a growing number of NASA missions,” he said.
