Bio: A little about me. I have been writing since my 2nd grade teacher praised my writing and recommended me for a writing program, in which my articles were published. Ever since then, I have just been writing short stories, and about prevalent things that occur within my life. Besides these, my hobbies include watching Scandal and Friends :), reading a good book that both challenges me and makes me laugh, and hanging with my best friends in the Claremont Village or the city (Both Atlanta and LA).

On Monday in Kabul, Afghanistan, 65 activists took to the streets to protest peace in a country where war has defined it for decades. “We want Peace!” and “No War!” This is what the people of Afghanistan screamed as they made their way across the Afghan capital, promoting a peaceful end to violence and death. Israel Responds To Explosive Kites With Gaza Strikes

On Monday night, Israel struck nine targets in northern Gaza in response to a launching of explosive and incendiary kites by Palestinians. These kites were just some of a series of kites and balloons from Gaza which were intended to explode or start fires in southern Israel. Minnesota Law Banning Political Apparel At Polling Place Declared Unconstitutional

On Thursday, a law in the state of Minnesota was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The law banned voters from wearing political apparel to a polling place. The Court determined that the law was unconstitutional in a 7-2 vote, stating that it inhibited the freedom of speech which is guaranteed by the First Amendment. New York Attorney General Sues Trump Foundation

The Trump Foundation, including Trump’s children and the President himself, was sued on Thursday by the New York Attorney General. Allegedly, they were found to have violated both state and federal laws. The New York Attorney General, Barbara Underwood, stated that the foundation has violated campaign finance laws by self-dealing and illegally coordinating funds with the presidential campaign. The “charity” has been under investigation for over two years, both during and after Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. In Brownsville, Texas, over 1400 young boys that are not orphaned are being kept in a shelter, separated from their families. That’s 1400+ families that are in agony, 1400+ boys that are in a place they are not familiar with, 1400+ parents who are constantly worrying about their children’s’ well-being.
