The city of New Orleans announced on Friday that they the New Orleans Smoothie King Center will be the new location of the 2017 NBA All-Star Game. MLB Veteran Slugger Prince Fielder Says He’s Retiring

Prince Fielder, 32, had his second neck surgery in three seasons. He previously had neck surgery on July 29th and will miss the rest of the 2016 season. On Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Fielder will officially announce his retirement. He has not played a game since July 19 after an MRI revealed a C4-C5 herniation of his disks in his just above a location that was surgically repaired two years ago. It was an another blowout victory for the United States Men’s basketball team in Rio. Despite some sloppy play to start, the U.S.  punctuated their performance to another level. They took down Venezuela in an 113-69 slaughter fest on Monday, keeping the U.S. hopes of a third straight gold medal well intact.
