No-Smoking Ban Mandated In All Public Housing

On July 31st, the Department of Housing and Urban Development banned smoking in or near public housing. In 2016, the Obama administration passed this rule, and now the government finally implemented it.  This ban prohibits cigars, cigarettes, and pipes in public housing and common areas. This excludes e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco and snuff. According to the department, around 280,000 public housing units under over six hundred local agencies claimed to be smoke-free already. The Carr Fire Takes 3 Members of the Bledsoe Family, And 3 Others.

The Carr Fire that destroyed a hundred and twenty-five homes has now killed three people trapped in their home. Six total deaths occurred from the Californian wildfire.  Currently, the size of the fire is as big as the city of Denver. And unfortunately, firefighters only contained 20% of it. Physicist, Jess Wade, Creates Over 280 Wikipedia Pages for Female Scientists

Jess Wade, a physicist at the Imperial College London, began writing Wikipedia entries that recognize female scientists. Her reasoning? Over 1,000 People Plan to Print 3D Guns

Old Hollywood predicted flying cars in the future, but instead, we got 3D printed guns. According to Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro office, over a thousand people have downloaded plans to 3D print an AR-15.  This all began after a guns-right activist group made a settlement with the United States, making 3D gun printing legal.
