So-called “kissing bugs” are slowly becoming an epidemic. The American Heart Association (AHA) has stated that kissing bugs, scientifically known as triatomine bugs, are becoming more common. As a result, doctors in the U.S. and Europe need to do a better job of recognizing the parasites and the diseases which they carry. Temperatures throughout North Africa are virtually unbearable. Cairo has been holding steadily at 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Ouargla, Algeria recently saw temperatures reach 125 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the highest recorded temperature on the African continent. In 2016, Mitribah, Kuwait, became home to the highest temperature on record for the Eastern Hemisphere at 129.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Moroccan Airline Sparks Outrage After Customers Allege Racism

A Moroccan airline is being accused of discrimination after it refused to accommodate African passengers. When a 9:00 AM flight was rescheduled for 9:00 PM the following day, Royal Moroccan airlines decided to book hotels for all of its American passengers. However, Air Maroc did not accommodate its African passengers. Many African guests were forced to wait in the airport for over 24 hours. The Vatican reported that during Pope Francis’s upcoming trip to Ireland, he will meet with victims of clerical sexual abuse.
