Braves hit four homers in blowout of Brewers

On July 30, the Atlanta Braves dominated the Milwaukee Brewers with an 11-5 victory, thanks in part to Ronald Acuna Jr.’s record-breaking steal. Acuna’s stolen base came after a leadoff single, making him the first player in MLB history to achieve 20 home runs and 50 steals before August. The Braves started strong with a six-run first inning, highlighted by Eddie Rosario’s two-run homer. Acuna and Marcell Ozuna also contributed to the offensive onslaught, with Ozuna hitting two home runs. Orlando Arcia had an impressive performance with three hits, while Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley each had multiple hits. Braves starter Bryce Elder pitched a solid game, allowing only one run in seven innings. The Brewers showed some late-game resilience, scoring four runs in the eighth inning, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Braves’ double-digit scoring for the second consecutive game.
