Burnley sign goalkeeper Vigouroux from Orient

Burnley has announced the signing of goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux on a three-year deal from third-tier side Leyton Orient on a free transfer. Vigouroux, who has been Orient’s first-choice goalkeeper for the last three seasons, played a key role in their promotion as League Two champions, conceding the least number of goals (34) in the fourth tier. Burnley manager Vincent Kompany expressed his excitement about Vigouroux joining the team, stating that he is a talented goalkeeper with a good personality and someone they will enjoy working with.

In addition to Vigouroux, Burnley has also signed Ireland defender Dara O’Shea from second-tier side West Bromwich Albion to strengthen their squad for their Premier League return.

Vigouroux expressed his delight at joining Burnley, describing it as an amazing opportunity to be part of an unbelievable training ground.
