Indeed, you read that correctly. A new comfortable-looking gamer fashion product has been revealed by Xbox Australia, the “Xbox Onesie” (a play on the name of Microsoft’s current gaming console). Whether the fashion can be considered stylish or not will likely depend on the individual. Check out how it looks:

Of course, Microsoft promises that this won’t be “just your standard onesie.” As the official announcement reveals, the onesie comes with a number of unique features. These include:
- Enlarged pockets to fit your Xbox Controller and Media Remotes.
- Arm pouch to offer quick and easy access to your mobile phone.
- Roll-able legs and arms to cater for all temperatures and seasons.
- Forearm grips to prevent slipping on those ‘edge of your seat’ moments.
- Extra-large hood to accommodate headsets for the ultimate gaming sessions.
- Customized Gamertag embroidery.
This feels most likely to be a marketing stunt on Microsoft’s part, as the bizarre nature of the announcement has quickly gone viral, and brought a lot of attention to Microsoft. The Xbox company is trying to build interest in their new Xbox One S console and upcoming bundles, hoping to continue in close competition with competitor Sony. Despite the Xbox One S not being released yet in July, the original Xbox One model actually outsold the PS4 in the US during that month. With new models out and on the way, Microsoft hopes to continue that success.
There’s no price or release date for the Xbox Onesie in the official announcement or anywhere else just yet, but that news will likely follow soon.
