Chelsea Clinton took the stage on Thursday to announce her mother, the first woman in history to win the nomination of a major party in the United-States, Hillary Clinton.
Chelsea Clinton had a soothing tone and a big smile when she talked about her ‘’wonderful, thoughtful, hilarious mother’’. She emphasized Hillary’s dedication to making the world a better place, especially for children and woman.

“As her daughter, I’ve had a front-row seat to how she serves,” she said. “I’ve seen her holding the hands of mothers struggling to feed their kids or get them the health care they need, my mother promising to do everything she could to help.”
She described her mother as a fighter who never give up, even in the face of difficulty or even failure. She evoked the ‘’low points’’ of Hillary Clinton’s public servant career, especially her failed fight for healthcare reform.
“”It was bruising and exhausting. She fought her heart out, and she lost … She took a little time to replenish her spirits. Family movie nights definitely helped – Dad, as you heard [on Tuesday], liked Police Academy; my mom and I loved Pride and Prejudice.” She added, “And then she got right back to work, because she thought she could still make a difference for kids.”

Chelsea reminded the public that her mother will never give up on them and that her record shows how devoted her mother is. The reason for her devotion is simple: Hillary never forgets for who she is fighting for. “Fights like these – they’re what keep my mother going. They grab her heart and her conscience and they never, ever let go.” Chelsea said.
Mom, I love you, I am so proud of you & I am grateful every single day you're my mom. It meant so much to be able to tell the country why.

Chelsea Clinton’s speech diverged from her reluctant involvement in her mother’s 2008 presidential bid. At that time, she did not want to talk to the press or get involved. This time around, Chelsea proved to be a valuable partner in her mother’s campaign. She followed Hillary Clinton on her campaign trail, met with crowds, did several interviews, and Thursday night, introduced her mother at the culmination of this long process called primary.
Chelsea Clinton brought her father to tears while she stood in front of an enthusiastic crowd, introducing Hillary Clinton proudly; ‘’My mother, my hero, and our next President’’.
