Chrissy Teigen wants her nipples free! Or at least on Instagram that is. On Tuesday, Teigen has posted a photo of herself getting her hair done with her right breast exposed. However, Teigen was able to find a loophole in Instagram’s by covering her nipple with a can of hairspray.
Monday, Teigen posted a photo of herself from a fashion spread for W magazine where she is topless. Teigen was really excited about the shoot and had the caption for the photo be “Honored to be in the company of such gorgeous women!” But Instagram deleted the picture because it showed her nipple.
This didn’t really sit well with Teigen and she tweeted “The nipple has been temporarily silenced but she will be back, oh yes, she will be back.” Oh and she brought it back to be free just placed behind some very well placed hairspray for the photo.
Instagram’s guidelines when it comes to exposure are “We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is OK, too.”
