According to a recent report from The Verge, Comcast is experiencing a nationwide outage in the US. The outage is causing problems for anyone using Comcast’s Xfinity service as their service provider.

According to crowd-sourced website Down Detector, there have been more than 11,000 reports of Comcast outages since 12:30PM ET. The company confirmed the outages on Twitter, saying that the company is “working to restore service.”

According to the company’s tweet, the outage was caused by one of Comcast’s network partners cutting a fiber line, which might also be impacting other providers besides Comcast.
