The CW network has recently revealed its mid-season schedule this Wednesday. Although the two new series Frequency and No Tomorrow are not going to get any additional episodes to their first seasons.
The network has decided to not give full season orders to No Tomorrow and Frequency. Although the fate of these two new shows will be determined next year.
This coming 2016-2017 show lineup is set to feature the last season of The Vampire Diaries. The supernatural drama will end on its eighth season around this coming March 10th.
Legends of Tomorrow will be moving to a 9pm slot on January 26th 2017. Legends will move to the Monday time slot that is currently occupied by No Tomorrow. The superhero series is set to pair as a lead in with The Flash.
The 100 series is set to debut its new season on Wednesday February 1st at 9pm, which will replace Frequency’s time slot.
The CW’s new series Riverdale will debut Thursday January 26th at 9pm. Reign will debut Friday February 10th at 9pm. The Originals will premiere its fourth season on March 17th at the Friday’s 8pm slot.
Legends of Tomorrow season finale is set to air on Tuesday March 28th 2017. Afterwards, on April 4th, iZombie is set to debut its new season with back to back episodes. iZombie will slide into its regular 9pm slot a week later. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s season finale is set to air on the CW on February 3rd.
Since No Tomorrow hasn’t picked up any additional episodes to their season, the finale will be set to air on January 17th. The season finale of Frequency is set to premiere on January 25th 2017.
Reportedly both Frequency and No Tomorrow have averaged a 0.3 live-plus same day Nielsen rating. Meaning only a few thousand viewers have watched the two shows live or re-watched the same day.
Frequency and No Tomorrow’s viewership numbers have created one of the lowest ratings on the network.
