Dwayne Johnson at the ‘San Andreas’ Premier in London

“Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas” has been popular since its game release in October 2004 for the PlayStation 2 console. Throughout the past, video game adapted movies usually have been extremely awful and just badly made; some of these movies include Mortal Kombat and G.I. Joe, amongst many others. But then again, there are movies like Mad Max that have been the cause of applause from audience from all around the world.

Here’s to hoping that Dwayne Johnson enjoys the same good fate through San Andreas. Johnson, who recently made his mark outside the Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is excited about his new release.

When asked about the latest release, Johnson said,

“I wanted to do something that I have never done before, and this gave me that opportunity. Because, it is in the disaster genre that I have never worked with.”

About the making of the movie, Johnson said,

“I realize how hard it is, but I also realize that when you make it and it is good, you have also got at shot at making something that might stand the test of time. And I think we have about done it with San Andreas.”

With opportunities that Hollywood stars dream of, like a star on the walk of fame and being a part of a popular franchise, this wrestler truly had a reason to be all smiles at the premier.
