The game started with Gainwell scoring a touchdown for the Eagles, followed by a touchdown catch by Jake Ferguson for the Cowboys. Dallas then took the lead with a touchdown pass to KaVontae Turpin. Hurts responded with a rushing touchdown, and a field goal by Brandon Aubrey gave the Cowboys a 17-14 lead at halftime. Unfortunately, Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert suffered an injury in the third quarter and had to leave the game.
