Ex-Renegades League of Legends player Alberto Crumbzz Rengifo has announced that he is forming an agency for Professional eSports or APE for short.
Crumbzz revealed that he will be creating APE in partnership with former president of Paris Hilton Entertainment, Jason Moore, as well as NFL agent, Matthew Pope.
The agency is meant to represent players and provide services to clients such as contract negotiations, individual sponsorship deals and post-career management. Crumbzz will be able to use his own experience as a competitive eSports player to understand the feelings and goals of future APE clients. He also felt the eSports industry needs to create a certain level of transparency, which is one more reason why he decided to create APE.
APE also wants to look into specialized contracts for players in an effort to help them get what they need to play at their best and rewards for those who are voted MVP or reach a certain level at a tournament to motivate them to play at their best.
