You can now own the house that was made a home by the Brady family– if you are willing to pay the large asking price.
The home was recently listed at $1.885 million, and the house’s realtor doesn’t think that she will have a hard time finding potential buyers. She said that she expects to be fielding lots of interest through “emails, telephone calls — we may see upwards of 500 calls a day.”
The house was last sold for $61,000 in 1973.

The three-bedroom, two bathroom home is located at 11222 Dilling Street in Studio City, alongside the Los Angeles River. It has become a landmark due to its appearances at the beginning and end of each episode of The Brady Bunch. It wouldn’t be surprising if someone were to offer above the asking price for the iconic home.
However, there is a possibility that the famous home could be torn down. Developers are reportedly interested in knocking down the house in order to build on the plot. In spite of this fact, the listing agent said the family would prefer to find a buyer who wants to preserve the house.
While it is unlikely that a developer would pay such a high price tag for the land just to knock down the house, it is possible. If you don’t want to see the famous house end up demolished, its time to break out the checkbook and make an offer.
