Longtime friend and employee of Bill Cosby, 90 year-old Frank Scotti who formally worked for NBC Entertainment stated that he used to guard the dressing room door after bringing young women back stage.
“I felt like a pimp,’” Scotti, told Kate Snow via TODAY on Monday. “Every time he had somebody I had to watch, I had the girl stay there. I felt dirty.”
Scotti was also responsible for sending women money, up to a thousand dollars per month. More than 12 women have stepped forward accusing Cosby of sexual assault, some even stating that he drugged them or tried to drug them first.
Mostly Cosby has kept quiet about the allegations, unwilling to really shed light on it. His lawyers are claiming that the charges are completely false and question why it has taken so long for the women to come forward.
“I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn’t have to answer to innuendos. People should fact-check. People shouldn’t have to go through that and shouldn’t answer to innuendos,” Cosby stated.
Cosby has not yet been charged with anything, though several of his shows this year have been canceled due to the incidents.
