Gamblit Gaming to Bring eSports Competitions to Casinos

A company by the name of Gamblit Gaming wants to bring racing eSports into casinos via their G-Sports eSports platform. The platform is meant to bring games like Road Redemption, the first game to use the platform, to casinos with cash prize tournaments.

To make it easier for themselves, they have created Gamblit TriStations, machines which can then be converted to G-Sports stations for multiplayer gaming.

In Road Redemption, players will be fighting against rival biker gangs while trying to in the race at the same time in a post-apocalyptic America environment with prizes awarded to the highest scores on the leaderboard.

Darion Lowenstein, chief marketing officer of Gamblit Gaming said that the TriStations will already be on casino floors, and casinos and game companies will be able to advertise tournaments for them to draw gamers to the casinos.

The TriStations and their other games have to go through regulatory clearance, and should arrive on casino floors in the first quarter in Nevada. The Road Redemption game should also arrive on casino floors in the second half of 2017.

“Once people are used to playing these games and putting $20 down, we’ll be able to bring more of the sophisticated games into the TriStations,” Lowenstein said. “For now, we want people to feel like they can walk up to a game they don’t know and have a chance to win.”

Ian Fisch, CEO of EQ Games, the makers of Road Redemption, said in an interview that he’s a hardcore gamer and the games of “luck” that the casinos have today hold no interest for him. He thinks a lot of other gamers want to play something that requires more skill or reminds them arcades.

“We’re really excited about working with Gamblit,” Fisch said.
