According to an intelligence report obtained by the USA, it is claimed that Osama Bin Ladin’s son Hamza Bin Laden is no more. Hamza bin Laden was leading the Al-Qaeda after the death of Osama Bin Laden. Osama was killed by an intelligence-based operation concluded by American marines in Abbottabad of Pakistan.
However, US officials did not provide more details on the death of Hamza bin Laden. It is also not clear whether the US played any role to kill Hamza bin Laden or not. When asked by journalists on Hamza’s death President Trump refused to comment.
The last statement of Hamza bin Laden was released in 2018. This statement was released by Al-Qaeda media. In this statement, he urged the people of Saudi Arabia to revolt against the Saudi regime.
The young Bin Laden was born in 1989. His father moved to Afghanistan in 1996. In Afghanistan, Osama Bin Laden declared a war against the USA. Hamza was also part of many videos of Osama. As a leader of Al-Qaeda Osama planned a 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon in 2011.
When Osama was killed in 2011, Hamza was not found in that compound. Shreds of evidence collected from the compound indicated that Osama wants Hamza to join Al-Qaeda. There were also reports that Osama was grooming Hamza to lead Al-Qaeda.
An FBI agent Ali Soufan wrote an article in 2017. In his article, he claimed that Osama was trying to make Hamza lead the terror outfit. He further mentioned that after the collapse of the Islamic State (IS) Hamza can reunite all the Jihadi outfits in the middle east. However further details of this issue remained hidden.
In February 2019. The State Department of USA announced a reward of one million dollars to locate the hideout of Hamza. In a twitter statement on reward, the State Department termed Hamza as an “emerging al Qaeda leader”.
Here it must be noted that there is no official statement to confirm the death of Hamza bin Laden. It is also not confirmed where did he die and the cause of death is still unknown. Further details cannot be shared until the confirmation from the state department.
Also, there was no confirmation from Al-Qaeda on this issue. Media is looking towards the State Department to confirm this story. Saudi Arabia also did not comment on this development.
