Kate Beckinsale will be back to reprise her role as Selene in the “Underworld” film series. This will be the fifth installment of the action horror film series. Cody Goodman has written the script and it is being kept secret what the newest film will be about. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter the story is going to focus on a new generation of vampires and werewolves. Maybe Selene will have to wipe the vampires into shape, and there most likely be crazy fighting scenes between vampires and werewolves.

Anna Foerster is set to direct the vampire werewolf movie. Foerster was the director of photography for “The Day After Tomorrow” and “White House Down,” and has directed episodes of Starz’s “Outlander.” Foerster will be the first woman to direct an action horror film with a female lead as well. Theo James, of the “Divergent” series, will also be in the new “Underworld” film. James had a small role in “Underworld: Awakening” in 2012 and will be reprising his role from that film.

The new “Underworld” is expected to start filming in October and in Prague. So, audiences can expect amazing scenery in the upcoming vampire movie. As long as Selene is kicking werewolf butt fans will be pleased.
