North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was present to cut the ribbon at the opening of a fertilizer factory, According to the KCNA news agency.
The people at the factory cheered hurray when he appeared, as this is his first reported appearance – since the global speculation over his health.
When reporters asked President Donald Trump about the reported reappearance, he replied that he wasn’t going to comment yet.

According to the reports of the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), several senior government officials accompanied Mr. Kim to the event, including his sister, Kim Yo Jong.
The North Korea leader cut the ribbon at a plant’s opening ceremony, which is located in an area north of Pyongyang. According to KCNA, the people in attendance echoed “thunderous cheers” for the Supreme Leader, who commands the all-people general march for the great cause of prosperity achievement.
The state media did not release photos from the event at first reporting. However, they released photos later to confirm reports that the leader is in good health.

Mr. Kim praised the factory for joining the contribution to the country’s food production and chemical industry. However, the news agency failed to provide photographs of the event.
What started speculation about Kim Jong-un health
Kim Jong-un did not appear in this year’s birth anniversary of his grandfather, Kim II Sung. This is one of the most important anniversaries in North Korea’s calendar.
The celebration of the state founder usually comes up on 15 April every year. Kim Jong-un’s absence at the event has fueled several rumors about his health.
Also, Mr Kim typically celebrates it by visiting the mausoleum, where the body of his grandfather lies. This is the first time that he’s missing the event.
