It is no secret that Kim Kardashian is one of Hollywood’s most talked about celebrities and is essentially everywhere you turn. So of course, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality star did not disappoint this Halloween season.

Kardashian had a whopping four different costumes that she wore in the past weekend, all paying tribute to pop culture icons.

First up was a homage to Cher accompanied by Sonny. Kim wore an identical piece to Cher’s 1973 Oscars look, along with Jonathan Cheban dressed up as Sonny Bono. Wearing a yellow crop top with a matching skirt, a stunning silky black wig and gold hoop earrings to match made for an amazing look all together. Cheban sports a black hair headpiece with a fake mustache. He also sports a dark purple suit with a black bowtie.

For her second look, Kim conjured up a little bit of controversy. She dressed up as the late Aaliyah, who sadly died in 2001 due to a plane accident at just 22-years-old. Kim wore a silver chain bra, a thick diamond choker, tight leather trousers and a belt, a look that Aaliyah wore in her “Try Again” music video.

The look created a divide between fans whether or not the costume was an offender of cultural appropriation, giving Kim is half-Armenian and Aaliyah was African-American.

One fan wrote, “Legend or not Aaliyah is a black woman and you’re not. It’s offensive and you shouldn’t push this limit, but ok…”

Others said fans are reaching for an issue when there is not one present. One fan wrote, “Tbh kim dressing up as aaliyah isn’t really offensive, there’s people out there wearing blackface and she had the respect not to so..”

Kim has yet to comment on this, but her other costumes have been getting a lot of praise.

For her third costume, Kim dressed up as Madonna, while her sister Kourtney dressed up as Michael Jackson by her side. The pair were recreating the famous look of the King and Queen of Pop from the 1991 Academy Awards. Kim had a beautiful silver diamond encrusted gown with fur to compliment. Kourtney displayed black leather pants with leather gloves, a white dress shirt with silver embellishments and topping it all off with a curly black wig.

And last but certainly not least, Kim rounded up her Halloween icon costumes with a tribute to the late Selena Quintanilla. Kim shared many videos one captioned, “My fave Selena!!” showing off her skintight purple jumpsuit and a wig that resembled Quintanilla’s hair.

Days before Kardashian, Demi Lovato also sported the same purple jumpsuit, and many drew comparisons between the two.

Despite rocking the same outfit as Demi Lovato, and the possible appropriation controversy, there is no doubt that Kim Kardashian had an abundance of great costumes. Dressing up as some of Hollywood’s finest is a great concept when you are one of Hollywood’s most-recognized faces. As this Halloween season comes to an end, we can’t wait to see what Kim conjures up next season!
