Kit Harington, of Game of Thrones fame, will be replacing Robert Pattinson in the film Brimstone. Pattinson was first announced for the role in February and has since dropped out of the project. Harrington will be starring in the film with Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce. Fanning is also a replacement for Mia Wasikowska.
The film follows the story of Fanning as she tries to runaway from an evil priest. The said evil priest that is hunting Fanning is being played Pearce; Harrington will be playing an outlaw that will try and help Fanning get away from Pearce. The film will be directed by Martin Koolhoven.
The cast will be filled out with Jack Roth, Paul Anderson, Carla Juri, and another Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten. So, Jon Snow and Melisandre will be reunited again, but not at the Wall or in Westeros this time.
Harington can also be seen in a comedy with Andy Samberg. This is mockumentary called 7 Days in Hell, where the pair of them will be playing tennis for seven days. It will be a different side of Harington than fans are used to seeing; normally, he is involved in things that are more dramatic. It will be refreshing to see him in a comedic role.
