It was over a year ago that Lil Wayne took to Twitter to describe his current status in the entertainment industry.

The successful rapper started to point the blame on Cash Money Records and Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams, for the delay on the release of Wayne’s newest album ‘Tha Carter V.”

Wayne last December continued to express,

after co-founder Williams and the label refused to release his work. It was 8 weeks later that, when Wayne filled a 51 million dollar lawsuit against the record label.

Rolling Stone Magazine reached out to the rapper last week to learn a little more about the lawsuit and the tweets that Wayne posted over a year ago.

During a phone interview, Wayne did not want to share a lot of information regarding the case, but the entertainer responded by saying,”That’s a legal matter, homeboy,” and in regards to the prisoner comment he tweeted last December, he played off as a sex joke stating, “I love being a prisoner in some p*$$! That’s what I meant.”

After the magazine spoke with Wayne, Wayne stated, “I’m human. But it’s nothing that a good blunt can’t cure.”

Wayne, who has been signed to a label since he was 12 is obviously trying to part ways. In the interview with Rolling Stone, he stated how he is currently working on a new album called, “The Free Weezy,’ that the rapper plans to release in March for free.

Wayne who has hinted at retiring several times throughout his career told the magazine, “I’ve thought about it. But for a person like me that bleeds, eats, sleeps and shits music, it’s hard to do.”

Friend and collaborator 50 Cent told MTV news that fans should not get involved with the current status between Wayne and Cash Money stating, “I’m surprised to see Wayne going through that because of the relationship between him and Baby. Be careful the things you say about the Wayne and Baby situation. Because Baby will forgive Wayne for the things that he’s saying, and Wayne will forgive Baby for the things that’s he saying but they may not forgive you. The relationship has so much depth to it, that you shouldn’t even speak on it.”
