A man has been convicted for allegedly arranging the murder of his wife, which was set to take place while the two were on a walk with one of their children. Nazish Noorani was a 27-year-old mother who lived in Boonton, New Jersey, though the shooting took place in Morristown, New Jersey.
Kashif Parvaiz has been charged for arranging the murder. Parvaiz, schemed this with his girlfriend at the time to execute his wife, so they could be together.
Originally, Parvaiz told the police that his family was a target because of their nationality, and that it was an act of terrorism. It was later discovered that they attempted to make the incident look like a random attack and tried to make it look as though they were not involved. Parvaiz reportedly reached out to several black magic companies, where he asked how much the execution would cost.
Morris County Prosecutor, Fredric Knapp, released a statement regarding the death of Noorani, and the incident stating, “Nothing will ever restore Nazish to her family. As her two young children grow up, they will never have their mother by their side. Her family, and most especially her siblings, will never see her again. This verdict, however, demonstrates to all of her loved ones that justice has been served.”
Parvaiz was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, endangering the welfare of a child, child abuse, hindering apprehension by lying to police and weapons charges. He is currently awaiting sentencing which could result in life in prison.
