What would you do if Maroon 5 crashed your wedding? We aren’t saying they pull a Bill Murry where they eat and drink, but literally crash the wedding, singing and making your special day part of their newest single “Sugar”?
“We’re gonna drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can,” Levine says at the beginning of the video, which was filmed on December 16th, 2014. “It’s gonna be awesome.”
Yeah, screaming and cheering is a normal reaction. These luck couples had a special wedding surprise when the band crashed their weddings in LA. Fully equipped with a movable stage, cameras and guitars, the boys hit up the scene, giving these luck couples the wedding memory of a lifetime.
“It was an out of body experience,” Levine says of the shoot in a press release. “I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all.”
