The smash hit show “Marvel’s Daredevil” has been renewed fro a second season on Netflix. The show has been a hit with audiences and critics and the second season will stream sometime in 2016. The Man Without Fear will return with writers  Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez as the show runners. Petrie has written for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “American Horror Story” while Ramirez has written for “Sons of Anarchy.” Daredevil Matt Murdock is in very capable hands.

Petrie and Ramirez worked closely with the Executive Producers Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard for the first season. DeKnight said on Marvel’s website that “While previous commitments unfortunately prevent me from continuing on with Daredevil into its second season. I could not be happier that Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are carrying the torch. They were invaluable collaborators during our first season, and I for one can’t wait to see what they do with the show moving forward.”

So fans of the show should be excited with Petrie and Ramirez taking control with the show, especially since they have been apart of other acclaimed shows. Netflix and Marvel will be collaborating again later in the year with  “Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones” and then next year’s “Marvel’s Luke Cage.” In the future Marvel and Netflix will come together again for “Marvel’s Iron Fist” but no release date has been issued as of yet, and then once more for a mini series called “Marvel’s Defenders,” but again no release date as of yet. It looks like Netflix and Marvel have started a beautiful friendship, and fans should rejoice.
