After footage of a McDonald’s worker throwing water at a homeless man went viral, the fast-food worker was fired.
”This type of behavior is not tolerated in my organization,” McDonald’s franchisee Wise Finley said. “I expect my employees to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and this was unacceptable. This individual no longer works for my organization.”
The video is filmed from the inside of a car, parked in the drive-through at a the service window. The guy inside the car is laughing while the McDonald’s employee lures a homeless man to the window, promising him food. When the homeless man approaches the window, the heartless fast-food worker throws a cup of water on him. “Why did you do that?” the homeless man asks. “Come on, man.” The guy in the car laughs as the homeless man leaves while the McDonald’s employee proceeds to repeatedly shout “world star” at him.
