Milan sign Nigeria forward Chukwueze from Villarreal

AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze from LaLiga side Villarreal. The deal is for a duration of five years.

According to Italian media, the 24-year-old has joined AC Milan for a contract worth approximately 20 million euros ($22.00 million), with an additional eight million euros in add-ons.

Chukwueze began his career at Villarreal in 2018 and has since made 207 appearances in all competitions, scoring 37 goals and providing 31 assists. He was also part of the Villarreal team that won the Europa League in 2021.

For the Nigerian national team, Chukwueze has been capped 28 times and has scored four goals. He made his international debut in 2018.

At AC Milan, Chukwueze will wear the number 21 shirt.
