Money Heist Season 4, that went on air last week, was the most recent consolation amid the lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Rightfully, the most excellent show Netflix can boast of, Spanish drama remained the center of attraction across the world until it perfectly culminated into a perfect heist at the end of Season2.
Season 3 was a disaster!
However, it was only the most recent edition of Money Heist that came to rescue its losing charm, if not fame.
Flashback!
For all the logical and technical reasons, Season 2 was the perfect end to a great web drama series that I claim is perhaps next to Game of Thrones in personal liking.
Perhaps, season 3 was never on the cards in the first place, and it was justified for no other reason than financial viability.
Throughout the third season, the creators of the show seemed to justify the next heist following Rio’s arrest. And the whole season 3 lost its charm until the last episode that revived the interest for various reasons, including Racquel’s arrest, and the professor’s narrow escape.
More:
Meanwhile, in the bank, Nairobi is shot after she is emotionally tricked into looking out of the window to see her son standing beside Siera. The ending minutes of the season 3 depict half-dead Nairobi depending her life on her group’s medical knowledge.
Indeed, the last episode of season 3 recovered the interest by depicting an emotional touch as the professor is also tricked by the authorities into believing her love is lost.
Money Heist Season 4
Money Heist Season 4 had everything that its last season lacked, and that made the first two seasons immortally popular.
It contained the genius of the professor that eventually outsmarts Spanish intelligence as he says that “Spanish intelligence will know that it is less intelligent than us.”
The capture of Rio that had justified the creators to resurrect the saga beyond season 2 remains a logical connection throughout season 3, and now in the latest one.
But as the saga of strategies, moves, and counter-moves continues, the story seems to be prolonging beyond season 4.
In the final episodes, the fun and thrill intensify as the professor recovers his love by a brilliant strategy before landing her through the epicenter of the heist, the bank, through a helicopter.
But as the professor hits the bull eye by embarrassing the intelligence through exposing Rio’s extra-judicial trial amid the official denials, the last scene of the final episode of Money Heist depicts Siera pointing bullet, with the professor at the receiving end.
The show goes on…
