‘How I Met Your Mother’ star, Neil Patrick Harris returns to the big stage and will be hosting Hollywood’s biggest night, The 87th Academy Awards.
While the actors and actresses get all glammed up for the big night, fans await the results of the big night, taking bets on who won and who got bumped. Maybe this year at the Oscars, Leonardo DiCaprio will finally get… something… Fingers crossed Leo.
Harris, 41, released a statement by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, “To be asked to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres, and everyone else who had the great fortune of hosting is a bucket list dream come true.”
Harris admits to fulfilling a lifetime aspiration by hosting the show. He has previously hosted “The Tony’s,” as well as “The Emmy’s.” This week he not only celebrated the announcement of being host but the birthdays of his four-year-old twins. “Awesome!”
The 87th Academy Awards will be on 22 February at the Dolby Theatre in LA.
