Archer
Going into its final season, Archer will take place in 1947 according to producer Matt Thompson. According to Nerdist, “…a large portion of the new season will focus on Archer’s quest to find out who killed his partner, Woodhouse”. The Tick
This highly anticipated show, based on the comic book by Ben Edlund, received an incredible amount of views when the pilot episode debuted on Amazon this year which prompted Amazon to order an entire season. What will the fans expect to see? At a NYCC panel, Edlund mentioned, “The terror is going to be an important part of the first season, and how Arthur emerges as a hero,” which is vastly different compared to Edlund’s first television version of The Tick, which premiered in 2001 on Fox and was much more of a sitcom. Have an Amazon account? Head over there to watch the pilot episode and keep your feelers out for the new season.
That’s all for now, but there’s still three more days of New York Comic Con! Make sure to keep checking back this weekend for more New York Comic Con news.
