After losing a number of tournaments, NRG has decided it is time to restructure their team and have brought in a new coach to start with.
Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu has been announced as the team’s coach and general manager for 2017 and is in charge of turning the team around and fixing any mistakes they might be making. Along with that announcement, Peter “ptr” Gurney has also announced that he will not be renewing his contract with the org and is now looking for another team.
Peacemaker had the following statement to make:
“I am delighted to be coming on board as the new general manager of NRG’s CS:GO team. They’re an organization with huge amibition in all the games they compete in—CS:GO is no different.
I consider this project to be the biggest and most important project in my CS:GO career, and I am super motivated about the opportunity NRG has given me. NRG as an org has the same passion and drive to build a winner. I will be taking the reins here and working with ownership to remake the roster into a world contender.
I’d like to thank all my fans for the amount of love you guys always gave to me and I send a special message to all the NRG fans: you better be ready because in 2017 we will shock the world together!”
