Officials received a phone call Wednesday around 3:30 AM, then discovering that the star which Donald Trump received in 2007 for his show “The Apprentice” on NBC had been smashed. Surveillance cameras caught the crime, however, Clay turned himself into the custody of the Los Angeles Police shortly after.

THE PREVIOUS VANDAL OF TRUMP’S HOLLYWOOD STAR WANTED TO BAIL OUT CLAY

Apparently, 54-year-old James Otis wanted to bail out Clay after hearing what he had done. Otis attempted to smash President Trump’s Hollywood star with a sledgehammer back in October 2016. However, when Otis arrived to bail out the suspect, police released Clay.

Clay’s will appear in court on August 15th.

Otis commented:

He’s a young kid. I’m sure he was very angry about something Trump had done. I wanted to help him because I had been in his footsteps a few years earlier. He’s got a lot to deal with.”

Otis plans to aid Clay by finding a lawyer to represent the young man.
