New York and visitors will join together tonight throughout the streets to see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree come to life.
Thousands will gather and fill the New York streets to celebrate the holiday season. Friends, family and most of all, excited, gleaming children will wait anxiously to see the illuminating lights of the tree. Carols will be sung, laughs will be shared and perhaps even a few Christmas wishes will be granted.
As a worldwide symbol of Holiday joy, the tree will stand illuminated at Rockefeller Plaza between West 48th and west 51st. Performances will begin around 7 pm and the tree will be lit around 8 pm.
