Russia-Ukraine War – Streets Turn Dark Before the Darkness

ukraine russia conflict - curfew in Ukraine

UkraineAs a result of the current situation’s outcomes, where Russia invades Ukraine, there are severe conditions imposed on Ukraine. This is happening as a consequence of the Russia-Ukraine War.

Right now, many of the cities including the capital Kyiv, are under curfew across Ukraine, by 22:00. But it seems that the night has started earlier than usual. As nobody can be seen in the streets, shops, and restaurants.

Everything seems to get deteriorated.

President Putin announces a military operation in Ukraine in the early morning today. People heard explosions in many cities of Ukraine including Kyiv, Odesa, and more.

People awoke by hearing the explosions in the Donbas region, which is the same as it happened back in 2014. Many of the areas were occupied by the Russian forces at that time too.

All efforts to spread the message of peace in the modern world seem futile. There is a wave of panic among the people which is very upsetting.

Due to this emergency, many people have been forced to give up their educational and business activities.

People have started migrating to neighboring countries including Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova. Around 7000 people went off the Donbas by the resources as of today, heading towards the west.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, there are more than 200 attacks by today from the Russian armed forces.

The abundant attacks were held at different places across the country throughout the day.

The United States and The United Kingdom announces a bunch of economic boycotts, to stop this overrun.

Including women and children, about 60 people are killed and more than 170 are injured throughout the day.

Among many other statements, President Biden says that Putin is the assailant and he chose the war for themselves. Now, he along with his country would have to get ready for the consequences.

Apart from the economic sanctions, Washington is planning more to decrease the Russian sovereignty over Ukraine. NATO will plan further actions in a meeting that will be held on Friday.

As a consequence of the Russia-Ukraine war, world oil prices are rising sharply and are expected to rise further.

Russia has set nearly 200,000 corps and many fighting troops on Ukraine’s borders. Including the big cities of Ukraine like Kyiv, Dnipro, Mariupol, Kharkiv, the Russian troops attacked the Kyiv Airport and military headquarters.

Ukraine is an emerging democratic state, unlike military dictatorial Russia. The people rejected the statement of Putin claiming that the neo-Nazis are administering Ukraine.

At the beginning of this week, the Russian president announced that he is going to recognize the two new independent states Donetsk and Luhansk.
