Where to Shop for School Books Other than the Bookstore

If you’re a college student, you know that schoolbooks are extremely expensive. They can be as high as $600+ depending on your major and professor. It’s a good idea to always email you professor to determine if you will actually be using the books before buying, but once you have a complete list of books you will absolutely need, consider these alternatives. Books are typically most expensive at the school bookstore. This is because they know you need it and they want your money.

EBay

EBay is an amazing online site that allows people to sell what they own to other people who need it. For example, School books! Students who have already had the class you’re in will most likely sell the book when they don’t need it. That $600 book may shrink in price as low as $200. It may have a stain or two on it but the information is the same either way.
