President Donald Trump too seemed to have confirmed that the North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is “alive and well.”
Trump retweeted photos of Kim at the fertilizer factory posted by North Korean State Media.
He tweeted, “I, for one, am glad to see he is back, and well!”

This was the North Korean leader’s first appearance in three weeks after global speculation over his health.
On Friday, when the news of Kim’s reappearance first broke, Trump, said to reporters that he “may” speak with the leader this weekend.
A US official said they analyzed different threads of intelligence on the published photos of Kim, and they are “legitimate.”

Earlier on Sunday, Moon Chung-in, an adviser to the South Korean president, said Kim is “alive and well.”
He added that Kim was staying outside the country’s capital, in the Wonsan area, along the eastern coast of the country, since 13 April.
Kim’s absence at his grandfather’s birth celebration on 15 April, raised several questions about his health.

Some rumors indicated that Kim had a heart surgery that left him gravely ill. However, intelligence from South Korea claimed that he was still in charge of the country, but was staying outside the capital at the time.
Also, the government of South Korea repeatedly claimed that they detected no unusual movement across their Northern border.
Meanwhile, some analysts who watched the released footage of Kim’s reappearance said it seems he was recovering from a medical condition. They also noted a slight stiffness in how he walked.
North Korea controls every information concerning its leader, who appears to be like a deity in the country. Often, his absence from official state media leads to speculations about his health.
There’s no free press in the country, and most almost impossible to report about the country’s leadership.
