Chandigarh boasts of the beautiful ‘Sukhna Lake, ’ which covers a vast stretch. When looking for some fun activities like boating or Shikara(houseboat), visit Sukhna Lake. On weekends, the City Plaza also hosts some great musical events in the market, and the Water Fountains in the night are a sight to please.
Kalagram located on the Chandigarh –Kalka highway is another hot spot if you want to shop for some local handicrafts and great artisan masterpiece that you can carry home as souvenirs. You may also find Khadi Items, shoes, and other handloom items at reasonable prices.
Chandigarh Golf Club
If you are a sports enthusiast, especially a Golf lover, Chandigarh has the perfect place for you. The Chandigarh Golf Club, one of the oldest Golf Clubs, sprawls upon a large area of lush green grounds to play the sport. You may sign up for a couple of golf lessons here.
