Chandigarh Visit

Chandigarh has something for everyone, be it a nature lover or an adventure freak, or perhaps someone who loves to research archaic monuments and things. Chandigarh will surely satiate your quest for a good travel option. Located in Northern India, Chandigarh, a Union Territory and the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, was built in 1952. French Architect ‘Le Corbusier’ designed the ‘City Beautiful’ with modern architecture, and therefore Chandigarh turned out to be a milestone of urban planning in Northern India after Independence.

Chandigarh is not called City Beautiful for no –reason. What distinguishes Chandigarh from most of the cities in India is the well organized and planned layout of the city, its green environment, beautiful stretches of trees across the roads, and it’s a variety of gardens and parks. It’s proximity to the famous Hill Stations makes it a hotspot for tourists. It is much more structured and clean as compared to the other cities around the country.
