A former choir teacher in Johnson County who was accused of secretly filming students changing at an Overland Park high school has been sentenced to over five years in prison. Joseph Heidesch, 47, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation and 25 counts of breaching privacy on Dec. 12. Rivian Automotive Inc., the electric vehicle manufacturer, is looking to sublease over 350,000 square feet of industrial space in Hayward. The company had leased the space at 25500 Clawiter Road less than a year ago and has now listed it for sublease. New research from Duke Health shows that using hearts from donors who have died from circulatory death, rather than brain death, could increase the number of available organs for transplant by 30%.
