Shaun Weiss, best known for his role as Greg Goldberg in the movie “The Mighty Ducks,” has been arrested on charges of public intoxication after cops found him acting erratically while he was under the influence.
According to the Oroville Public Safety Department, the 39-year-old was arrested in Oroville, California and was taken to Butte County Jail without incident. He was later released, and police have stated that no further action is expected to be taken.
Police later released his mugshot from the arrest, and the former child star is almost unrecognizable.

This isn’t Weiss’ first run-in with the law. In July of 2017, Weiss was sentenced to 150 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for petty theft after reportedly stealing $151 worth of merchandise from Fry’s Electronics. He was also arrested in Burbank, California for possession of a controlled substance after methamphetamine was found on him. Weiss was sentenced to 90 days in jail for this offense.
Sobriety has been a recurring issue for Weiss, and a representative of his has stated:
“Hopefully when he gets out, he will go to rehab so he can stay sober.”
In addition to his role as the goalkeeper on the Mighty Ducks hockey team in the beloved movie, Weiss has also been involved with several other shows. He has made appearances on “The Cosby Show,” “King of Queens,” “Saved by the Bell: Next Class,” and “Boy Meets World.”
Weiss hasn’t appeared in a film or TV show since 2008. At this rate, it is highly doubtful that he will ever find work in the industry again.
