Sometimes, police investigations yield the most interesting results like that of a “CSI” episode or something of the sort. Recently, one such investigation not only shocked people but left the police just as flabbergast.
According to officials, a man from Los Angeles was found dead, he so happened to be the owner of about 1,200 guns and of about 2 tons of ammunition. Investigations are now going on to check if the weapons were legally owned or not.
Ed Winter, the LA county assistant chief coroner said that the man whose body was found in his car was already decomposing for a while.
Even with the astounding number of weapons in his arsenal, such as hand guns, shot guns and so many more, there is no such law in California that limits the number of guns a person can own.
LAPD spokesperson Liliana Preciado also said that investigator will be checking if the weapons have been used in any past crimes committed.
The officers who entered the man’s home with a warrant were simply looking for any evidence surrounding the man’s death. As happenstance would permit, the police found the deceased’s personal arsenal lying around in his house.
