With the iOS 8.3 update comes the new anticipated Emoji keyboard. The keyboard is more diverse than ever before as Apple has taken its customers considerations to vamping their emojis.
Before the new update emojis lacked a variety of race options to their people. Other than the common caucasian person emojis, there was an Asian man in a gua pi mao cap and an Indian man with a turban on. Many speculated as to why Apple withheld from putting in other types of races such as black.
But no worries; emojis now come in all different shades in all their people and hand symbols on the new keyboard given with the phone update. There has also been 32 more country flags added.
On top of adding diversity to the people emojis same-sex couple emojis have been added on the keyboard as well. Supporting all demographics and lifestyles there are family emojis available beyond the traditional one available before. There are now families featuring two moms and two dads.
With the 300 added symbols to the board Apple even includes their new phone model the IPhone 6 and replaces the generic watch to their new Apple Watch.
There has been a funny bug using the new keyboard for some IPhone users who have not yet updated to the iOS 8.3 version but are still using the new emojis.
The male and female faces, thumbs, princesses, flamenco dancers, and some other emoji symbols have been seen affected by this strange bug. There is a glitch turning these emojis into aliens once the Apple user clicks send. Many are sharing their experiences with the glitch on Twitter. Apple never responded to CNN when they questioned them on this issue.
Some are also disappointed with the lack of one new emojis. Many are speculating why Apple has yet to create a middle finger emoji in the collection. Just as Apple users expressed their need for more diversity in the emojis there has also been a huge demand for the middle finger emoji. Supporters band together on social media sites for this particular symbol. Others understand the possible reasoning Apple might have for keeping the middle finger out. It can appear to be vulgar and as there has been an increase in kid users it may not be appropriate. Many on twitter still express their frustration on Apple choosing to exclude this emoji on the new update.
The only thing IOS 8.3 is missing is the middle finger emoji.

Emojis are not the only updated feature apart of iOS 8.3. The new wireless CarPlay has been added and improvements to current applications have been made. There is a better launch and responsiveness on apps. The Messages and WiFi functions have been improved. There has been changes made to the Control Center and Safari tabs. With the emoji updates on the keyboard the third-party keyboard and keyboard shortcuts have also improved and the Chinese keyboard is simpler for easier use.
With so many more options there will soon be an emoji to represent all you need to say.
