According to police, a 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged with murder, arson, and other crimes in connection with a fatal fire in the Bronx last week.
FDNY firefighters responded to a fire on Evergreen Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. on Jan. 29, extinguishing the flames and discovering a dead man inside.
15-year-old arson and murder suspect
A 15-year-old girl was arrested by New York City police for her alleged involvement in a fire that killed a 27-year-old man.
The suspect has been identified as Abdoukarim Sakolly, 27, of the Bronx.
A 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged with murder, assault, arson, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief as a result.
The incident is still being investigated.
