He wants to take a look towards know as well as the unknown paths of saving the climate from devastating impacts. The entrepreneur added that this initiative would not work single-handedly. It would require optimistic support from other organizations as well as large MNCs.

Critics reveal facts

Many of the amazon staff, as well as field experts, stated that amazon stands as the biggest injury towards nature. They all together have applauded their CEO’s initiative in conserving Mother Nature, but yet it can’t stand with only one person’s effort. The critics also raised the cause that Amazon funds oil and gas companies like the Competitive Enterprise Institute. This makes Amazon itself as one of the major factors for destructive nature. The employees also revealed that Amazon sort to fire might consist of their employees if anybody would raise allegations against the company. The critics announced that leaving their CEO, the rest of the company, is not concerned with climatic changes. They raised factors like when would Amazon contemplate about the lungs of children living near oil factories and modernized using electric over diesel trucking.

A global initiative by the employees

In April, thousands of amazon’s employees signed a contract addressing it to the administrators and the CEO. The contract demanded the company should withdraw from the funding of such companies whose operations provide a threat to nature. Almost 1700 of a total number of employees joined a walkout, which focused on bringing Amazon as the main lead in climate heal. They stated as being one of the largest and the great companies, Amazon’s role should be facing the climate crisis and taking the lead in it.

Amazon making true promises

The company, in response to the revokes, pledged to incorporate 100% of renewable energy by 2030. Added to its promises that it will be using carbon neutrality by 2040. The company also ensured to purchase 100,000 emission-free electric vehicles as well as will invest hundreds of million dollars for the raising of the same cause. The company elongated the chain of its promises, hearing to the revokes and the demands and pledge to replace behemoth ships with planes and electric trucks.
