After 20 years of modeling, Gisele Bundchen poses for Vogue Brazil 40th anniversary May 2015 issue completely nude.
In the photos taken by photographers Inez and Vinoodh, Bundchen is shown mimicking a Greek statue on top a black podium box and is holding Vogue’s “G”. Hanging fromt the “G” is a “20.”
The model shares her cover on instagram with the caption:
This is a big shoot for Bundchen and for her fans as the 34 year old model announced her retirement early this month. Her last runway show was the Colcci show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week on April 15.
At the show Bundchen expressed her farewell to the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper. “I don’t see how to continue [modeling on the catwalk]… and stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself. Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop.”
This cover is a dedication to both Vogue Brazil 40th anniversary and Bundchen’s 20 year journey in the modeling world which she greatly impacted.
