Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel stated that he would be content to win his first Bundesliga title without his team playing on Sunday, as long as they secure their 11th consecutive league title. Bayern will face RB Leipzig on Saturday and could clinch the title with a win, provided that second-placed Borussia Dortmund lose to Augsburg on Sunday. Tuchel, who has previously coached Mainz 05 and Dortmund in the Bundesliga, said that he does not mind how the title is won, as long as it is won. He is two wins away from securing his first German league crown, in what has been a challenging domestic season for Bayern. Tuchel has previously won the domestic league in France and the Champions League with Chelsea, but has only won a German Cup with his Bundesliga teams.
Thomas Tuchel, head coach of German soccer team Bayern Munich, has declared that he won’t have any issues with celebrating the club’s title from his own couch.

The German soccer giant was expected to clinch the Bundesliga title on Saturday. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they have been forced to play without fans or even their bench. In a recent press conference, Tuchel opened up about the unique situation and shared his optimism for the team’s future.

“We will certainly manage the final stretch of games without spectators, and that will be complex,” Tuchel said. “But should we win the title, we’ll organize our own celebration, in our own way.”

The manager also explained the importance of the team lifting up the championship and hoped that his comments would help provide a morale boost to the players.

“It would be a special moment when we lift the title. It’s the culmination of our hard work and focus this season,” Tuchel said.

The comments come as both an exciting and uncertain time for the German soccer team. With the Covid-19 panedmic continuing to cause disruption to many parts of daily life, Bayern’s management, players, and fans will be hoping that the club can celebrate the Bundesliga title in the near future, no matter the conditions.
