Red Bull encountered another trophy mishap at the Belgian Grand Prix when the trophy given to the winning constructor was broken during a celebratory team photo. This incident comes just a week after a similar incident in Hungary, where the porcelain race winner’s trophy toppled off the podium and shattered. Max Verstappen, who has now won eight races in a row and leads the championship by 125 points, expressed his frustration as he shouted, “It’s broken again, the trophy’s broken again.” Video footage captured the moment when team members rushed towards the camera, causing a pit board to topple onto the trophy. Despite the damage, the team reassured fans that they would rebuild the trophy and send it to Milton Keynes. This victory in Belgium marked Red Bull’s 12th win in 12 races this season, making them the first Formula One team to achieve such a feat in a single year. As Formula One enters its August break, the team is ready for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
