On Thursday, Justin Bieber’s lawyer confirmed that Bieber pleaded guilty to careless driving and assault. Bieber appeared in court via video stream because he was in Los Angeles while the judge was in Ontario.

According to E! News “Bieber ‘pleaded guilty and received an absolute discharge’ to the dangerous driving charge and ‘pleaded guilty and received a $750 fine’ to the careless driving charge.”

August 29 of last year Bieber got into an altercation with a photographer. Bieber was visiting his father in Stratford, Ontario. He was disrupted by paparazzi which essentially ignited Bieber’s anger. After a collision with a van and an ATV Bieber got out of his vehicle to confront the photographer.

It was not anything like straight punches to the face, but a few slaps out of frustration. Bieber’s lawyer, Brian Greenspan, said that “The assault was described even by the photographer as a couple of slaps, certainly three at the most, that he deflected with his shoulder.”

Now that this case has been settled this is the last of Bieber’s legal troubles. Maybe now that he his done maybe the popstar will turnover a new leaf.
